Lynn's comic strip over the years has reflected events that happened often in real life and how society has changed over the years and our growing awareness of that. As a kid growing up in the fifties I know that parents thought nothing of buying toy guns and kids played cowboys and Indians, cops and robbers. These were the things we kids saw at the movies and on television. Planes were not hijacked and most gun owners were hunters or police officers and kept their weapons under lock and key.
