Ha! I'm going to the dentist in an hour. They called a few days ago and changed the time of my appointment. But I'm accommodating, they have all those sharp, shiny things!

I loved your article about Phylis Diller. She was such a remarkable talent in so many ways. I remember her once telling a story about being invited to play piano with a top philharmonic orchestra. (I don't remember which one.) She was such an accomplished pianist and she thought the offer was legitimate. She said she was shocked when she learned they wanted her to do a Victor Borge style comedy act. She fought for it and played the gig straight and ended up being invited by many orchestras to play with them.
