Sorry Lynn. I do not share your love of mushrooms. I have never understood how anyone could like those rubbery tasteless things.

Me my mom and my brother all hated mushrooms and it was the taste that we hated, the only one who even liked mushrooms was my step-dad and I never even see him eat a mushroom crazy for a guy who likes mushrooms is never seen eating any.

Like Kate, I too have been a tomboy all my life, to the point where the last time I wore a dress was on my wedding day over 13 years ago! I live in jeans and sneakers, and the number of times per year that I wear makeup can be counted on one hand with fingers left over. This irritated my mom to no end, as she has no trouble wearing dresses and wouldn't think of leaving the house without her makeup and hair "just so." She's taken great delight in the fact that BOTH my daughters, while still tomboyish, enjoy wearing dresses too (my older daughter even wanted one "just like the Mennonites wear" once (we live in a county with a large number of conservative Mennonite communities). We're already having fights over her wanting to wear makeup-I told her not until she's 13, and she's 10 now, and my 5-year-old has raided it already as well. Ah, kids!
