Hi Lynn and troops. As with many of your fans I have been reading your books since the 80's. My family would be puzzled as to what the connection was between my interest and your stories. I would tell them that I couldn't explain it but I always felt at ease reading the books and that your messages in the stories made sense to me. Fast forward 25 years(and it was fast-lol), I have my own daughter of 11 years. To my delight, she is reading all of your books as well. We talk about the situations in your books-they are a great conversation starter and help with the difficult situations that kids at this age are starting to experience. We were at Girl Guides the other night and someone mentioned something (?!?)and my daughter states out loud "thats not what Michael nor Lizzie would do". Needless to say the pair of us burst out laughing and left a room full of very confused little girls.
