Lynn's Notes:
The real Farley never did live in a house with stairs. His hips were so bad, he needed help to go up or down even a short flight. He was not the kind of dog to bark at a stranger- so this part of the action is true! I think Elly was demanding too much of Farley when it came to defending her from noises. He WAS technically still a puppy at the time. Of course, that whine would probably frighten a thief into thinking the house was haunted!
