Our refrigerator was our timetable, gallery, and photo wall. On it were hand painted cards, personal reminders, pictures, and grocery lists -- a good slam would cause an avalanche of paperwork to hit the floor. It was like an historical cache of information, documenting everything from first report cards to notes from the tooth fairy. This humble appliance was as important on the outside as it was within!
